First decent picture with my new lens!

Got my Nikkor 50mm prime today, was playing around with items I had near me and took a picture of my iPhone that I really liked. Yes it is orange, because I replaced the housing with a custom orange one.

So far I think it's awesome. It is a world of difference in construction compared to the lenses of today. I haven't gotten "out in the field" yet with it as it just arrived tonight. I hope to take some car pictures with it soon. I'm using it with my D3000 with means everything is manual haha

I use a D3000 to! Eventually when I have cash to just throw at stupid shit I want to pick up a D7100, hopefully I'll actually need it by then

Yeah... This D3000 used to be mine, but I gave it to a family member, who then got a D5200 and gave the D3000 back to me. So now I'm going to see if I can get back into photography.

My dad has a D5200, I usually grab it when I need to shoot an HD video. But now that I have a gopro, when I get an external mic I can steal his camera less.

I have one Hero 3 white, One first gen Hero (which I bought for 20 bucks off a friend. Still shoots 1080P at 30FPS even though it's old!) and a Contour Roam which doesn't count as a go pro but is still useful.

HAHAHA, no, I try not to be "that" guy. I don't mention the "Porsche" unless they ask me about it because it's embarrassing. I tell them I drive a benz which I still feel sleazy for saying because I drive an ML320 haha.

A certain fellow I know with a 944 however may be guilty of the described offense though... cough cough Aaron Brown haha

I am really loving it. This one is actually an F/2.0 which I find weird. Nikon made 1.4,1.8,and 2.0s and apparently there isn't a noticeable difference between them... For 30 bucks I'm not complaining :D

I love my Nikkor glass, just wish I had a digital rig to use it with. Film is fun, but freaking inconvenient these days.

Off topic, sorry, but do you know if it is possible to replace a 5c housing with a 5s or 5 housing? I got a 5c when they had great rebates and such, but the only color in stock was the baby blue and I hate it.

I haven't checked, but you could probably pull it off. It might be a little hacked together and some screws might not go in but I'm sure one or two would be enough. The 5 and 5C are the same just metal and plastic. 5S is different though. I don't know how different the boards are between a 5 and 5C. I would just sell the 5C and buy a 5 to be honest.
